As of today, August 20, 2009 I have suggested 10 names for the #NameAKodak contest.

- Zok or Zokit
- Zodiak
- Zeek
- Zanto
- Zingo
- Zango
- Zid

- Zapa
The reason I suggested a name is usually in the tweet or in the one blog comment. I added some comments to the tweets to expand on the ideas or to give more background. The tweets are listed in backward chronological order.
CathleenRitt @kodakCB #NameAKodak Zapa - named after famous adventurous war photographer Robert Capaabout 19 hours ago from web
CathleenRitt @kodakCB #NameAKodak Read G. Eastman’s history for ideas. Santo Domingo trip: Zanto, Zingo, Zango also Zid (vid) Zar (czar) Zoda (koda)1 day ago from web
Comment: Yes I actually went and read about Kodak founder George Eastman and how he got the idea for his film products from his experience buying a bulky camera for a planned vacation to Santo Domingo. I thought that was a great story for naming the new video camera because I got the feeling it has a similar purpose as a product.
CathleenRitt @kodakCB #NameAKodak I’m living the Z name dream. Zeek - it’s fun, sleek and it’s got Eastman Kodak built into it1 day ago from web
CathleenRitt @kodakCB #NameAKodak How about Zodiak - It plays off Kodak and Kodiak - adventure - but versatile -no matter your sign, you’ll love it1 day ago from web
Comment: I love Zodiak as a name for all the reasons I gave in the original tweet.
CathleenRitt Posted my #NameAKodak suggestion Zokit or Zok on the blog because I explained my choicehttp://is.gd/2nsWn
Comment: I wrote at length on the blog why I picked and liked this name. For me it captures the feeling of sturdiness and fun and the idea of using it as a noun or a verb in your promotion.
