Facebook Suggestions Rant

What would life be like if acted on Facebook’s suggestions? Friends that don’t log-in? I’d write urgent messages on their walls, insist they post profile pictures. I’d suddenly want ski gear, a correspondence degree and platinum Match.com membership. If Facebook wants members to like it and use it more, they should make it less stupidly, intrusively annoying, fix privacy settings, and provide a better service.

Not Getting Paid to Kill Ads - Updated

As a not important enough Tweeter to have sponsors, I have decided to give ads ‘on the house’ in the hopes of gaining their business about 1 hour ago from SocialScope

Perhaps such sponsors will pay me to tweet on their behalf or pay me to stop. Either way I win about 1 hour ago from SocialScope

Why is it that FB tells me who to write to, who to pick friends for, who to find pictures for, who to poke? When is somebody going to do something for me? Do I always have to be the one doing the work? Even Facebook is bossing me around. Well, I’ve got news for you, Facebook. You’re not the boss of me. I’ll befriend, picture and poke whoever and whenever I damn well please

1. Zok or Zokit (from blog post) Name suggestion: Zokit (rhymes with pocket) or just Zok My rationale is Z because you like it, ok for Kodak. If you go with the Zokit idea it’s meant to rhyme with Pocket. I’m leaning toward Zok because it’s one syllable, it has a hard, sturdy sound, but also sounds fun, like it’s your friend and like a tool you’d have on an adventure (Another idea is Zak) I like the idea of “give me the Zok” “where’s the Zok?” I think Zokit has a similar feel but it’s also the verb for using the Zokit “Look at that, let’s Zokit” Hope that helps  Addendum; Zok also contains ocular
